I have a VERY large list of participants in a database. Each participant has countless numbers of values in one column with corresponding dates in another (the number of values differ from person to person). I need a function or code to find the highest and lowest value of each month for each year for each participant. How do I do this?

Thank you so much in advance for your help.

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
I suggest a pivot table (Im assuming that your data is in 3 columns name, values, date or something similar). Put the participants in the rows and min/max as the field value settings. They would be columns under each date. This would create ~24 columns of data if you showed all the months for a year. Or, you could put the year as a report filter and then scroll to find the min maxes. you might need to create YEAR and MONTH columns. Pretty easy to try it out.
