Hi, I'm trying to use max to find the largest entry in a range. Any possible entry will be in between 0 and 1. Is this not possible? It doesn't pick up on any values in said cells unless I enter a value greater than or equal to 1.

Code:
=MAX(BR2:BU2)

Formula is in BW2 but won't max the columns when values are less than 1

Click the italics "fx" icon to the left of the formula bar to open the Functions Arguments dialog. Help is displayed for each argument.
also tried this

Code:
=IF(BU2 <>"", BU2, IF(BT2 <>"", BT2, IF(BS2 <>"", BS2, IF(BR2 <>"", BR2, ""))))

and the same thing except greater >0 instead of <> "" but got the same zero value result.

Did you check the format in BW2?
