MAX NUMBER OF SHEETS

Can anyone tell me what the maximum number of sheets I can have in a workbook??

It is limited by available memory (no preset limit).

From what I understand number of sheets is only limited by the PC's available memory.

Although I thought I'd read a figure for this somewhere. I'm sure the workbook would get way to large and unwieldy long before the sheet limit was reached anyhow....surely?
