I need to set a maximum amount of hours a person may accumulate

so on i6 i have the formula sum(i4:16), but this I6 cant go over 720 hours and maybe have pop up come up when this reached

thanks in advance for any help

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
first of all, you can't have the formula sum(i4:i6) in cell i6 (unless you want a circular error). but your formula should look like: Min(720,your sum formula)
