# Mean Paid Per ID

I am using the following to calculate the mean per row where the ID's are the same.

=IF(A4=A3,"",SUMIF(A:A, A4,E:E )/COUNTIF(A:A, A4))

Column A contains my ID's, Column E contains the paid amounts. This works except for the fact that if there are 2, 3, 4 matching ID's it will not populate the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th where the ID matches. Is there a way around this?

Thank you

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.

So are you trying to do a running average? Because if not, you should just be able to use AVERAGEIF(A:A,A4,E:E)

Assuming your data starts in row 4,

AVERAGEIF(\$A\$4:A4,A4,\$E\$4:E4)
