MEDIAN FORMULA

Hi, I have a sheet with a full days horse racing on it. The sheet has many columns of data. One column is for the Official Rating of each runner (OR). What I would like to do is add column with a Median Rating for each race based on the OR of each runner. I have really hit a wall in trying to achieve this without going through each race on the sheet and adding it manually. Would anyone be able to help with a formula to do this? Hope it makes sense. Thanks
