Merge cells /columns faster?

Is there a way to make a 'fastbutton' in toolbar to merge cells /columns faster ?
Can't find if it excists...

Yes! if i got your question right then

goto view>toolbars>cutomize

In tab "Commands", select "format" in "categories"
and in commands you would find "Merge and centre"

drag "merge and centre" in one of your toolbars.
