I have 2 worksheets. One contains user info and the other contains asset info. Both sheets use an employee id in column a. Is there a function to merge the data into one sheet using the employee id column?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Presuming you are wanting a third sheet combining the two, or moving records to the appropriate id row, a fairly simple bit of code should work.

Just to rule out - the employee IDs are listed only once on ea sheet, correct?

Very cool! I would not have thought of that.
