I have set up a series of student worksheets to test a skill, for example binary addition. Steps:

1. I set up a series of random numbers which I've converted to 8 bit binary
2. I copied/pasted these so that there are 18 questions per page
3. I hid the columns and copied pasted the cells so that I have 36 pages on the worksheet
4. I print pages 1 to 36 and get 36 unique worksheets which a great :) I get a unique set every time I open the workbook to print some more too.

What is the best way to:

Add a student name, from a list, to each page in the worksheet. I could probably work out a messy solution but I wondered if there was a decent way to do this?

So I want the student names to appear in the yellow cells on attached image.

Thanks for any ideas...

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Why not have a list of student names as its own sheet and then each page reference a specific cell. So on sheet "Test3" (or something like it) it would reference cell A3 on "StudentNames"? It would automatically update when you put new names in the "StudentNames" sheet, but you'd be limited to sets of 18 students or however many sheets you started out with.

Is that what you were thinking or am I not understanding your problem?

You are understanding the problem yes, and breaking it down as you suggest makes it a bit easier. That is the best solution so far. Thank you.
