I have two forms in excel and they are very similar.

I want some cells on the second form to auto-populate when the information is entered in the first form.

Ex: Date

It does not work because my first form as cells that are merged.

Is there a way I can do this without unmerging my cells?

Thanks in advance for the help .

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Hi...

Welcome to the board....

Cells are identified as address in the form of range...

eg: if A1:A5 is merged, in VBA, A1 means the value in A1 only. This might change when A2 is given in VBA

Unless cells are unmerged, the values from the form can not be transferred to the sheet.

I actually found answer to my own question but thought I would post in case it can help someone :)

If you do
= then clik on the mergecells you wish to reproduce it will not work because the formula will automatically count all the cells.

ex: ='TAB1 '!B30:C31

To make it work just delete the last part keeping only the first cell of the merged range

ex: ='TAB1 '!B30

It works

Have a great day people :)

I think mgm has misunderstood your problem from the way you phrased it.

When you need to reference a range of merged cells, you need to use the address of the top left cell in the merged area.
