First time poster...long time Lurker! Thanks for ALL your help !!!
I have a worksheet where Column A contains my Project Numbers (text) and Column B contains the associated Project Name (text). I would like to merge or concatenate Col A and Col B and have the results in Column C. I have seen other posts that use =A1&" "&B1, but that only returns the merge for A1 and B1. I have 80 or so rows to merge. Is there a wildcard or similar tool that would apply the merge to the entire column including all the rows?
Thanks In Advance !!!
BTW using Excel 2000 ver 9.0.****

You can use the =$A1&" "&$B1 in the first row, then just drag the formula down to the rest of the rows. The row numbers in the formula should automatically update.

perhaps I have not understood

if c1=a1&" " &b1 then you can copy c1 to c2 to c80 by taking the cursor to righhand bottom of C1(turns to +sign) and dragging down.

if this is not what you want you can have a vba also

Thank You So Much !!! My problem was that I wasn't saving the workbook before the "updated" values kicked in ! It was copying =A1&" "&B1 into ALL the rows..after saving, they became =A1...=A2...=A3 and so on!
This is EXACTLY what the internet should be!
Thanks Again
