I have a worksheet with

ID in column
Name in column B & D

I would like to merge in another sheet columns B & D in a single column and with the ID assigned.

TIA

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).

how would I tweak Aladin's solution merge from non-contiguos ranges, i.e. A & C instead of A & B?

TIA
