Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
Like this?

Code:
Sub Test()
    With Range("A1").MergeArea
        MsgBox .Cells(1, 1).Row
        MsgBox .Cells(.Count, 1).Row
    End With
End Sub
