Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Sheet Description

Its basically its the following fields accross the top
Code -(retail code) Retailer (shop name) Address Suburb State Postcode Phone Contact (contact name) Date Sent SIM sent PC sent Recharge Amount Payable (value) Amount Collected Paid (date) Method (how paid)

with approx 1000 entries,
more of the data will be duplicated - but we want to merge to make sure none are missing from the final document

do you want duplicates in the final document? i.e. just dump all data from all 30 sheets into one big sheet?

if no duplicates which field is the unique ID?

Duplicates

I dont want any duplicates -

Each order will appear once - and any blanks that may not of been filled in will be updated if it has been in any of the documents

Can you tell us;

1) Directory of all the files
2) any common part of file name?
3) Columns to be copied and column(s) to be merged
4) key column
5) worksheet name(s) to be copied from
6) Row index that the data starts for each worksheet
