Hi all, I am trying to mailmerge a list of addresses from Excel into my Word so that I can print labels.

However when I access the files in Word it is changing my postcodes to have a decimal point and zero at the end.

So instead of

Mr Jo Blow
23 Blow Lane
BLOWVILLE NT 8462

it is saying

Mr Jo Blow
23 Blow Lane
BLOWVILLE NT 8462.0

Anyone got any ideas how to fix this? there are hundreds of addresses.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
try by adding at the end: \# 0
if you activate/deactivate the field code it should look like
[mergefield "name of your field " \# 0]
