merging excel files

hi folks

Is there an easy way to merge/append many excel spread sheets/files into one large spread sheet/file if all the sheets/files have the same columns. Dont want to cut and paste as I have rather a lot to combine together.
Any help will be very appreciated
(using excel 2000 ver 90.0.2720)

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
