merging info from two different worksheets

I have two worksheets A and B.
I would like to compare a PO Col A on worksheet A, Row A2:A40 against Col A RowA2:A40 on worksheet B and if the PO's are on both worksheets, I would like to copy the status col , Col K K2:K40 from worksheet A onto worksheet B col K, K2:K40.

It won't show any columns being selected, just the cell in col A on that row.

ok, I got that! But nothing else shows up after I hit enter. I did ask someone here if I was not doing something basis wrong, but they didn't understand either why nothing was showing up?

If you add the sheetB sheet name, does it work?

The comments in col K don't match with the correct PO, somehow they shifted down to another PO.

Oh my gosh, I just deleted the formula and copied it again and put it in the cell K2 and it worked!!!!! I didn't do anything different! But it worked. Best news I've had all week! So happy. Thank you!!
