Hi
I need some help with some code for a message box. The code I am using is
If Range("Sheet1!A1") = 1 Then
Dim Msg, Style, Title
Msg = "You have entered a wrong value in cell A1"
Style = vbOkOnly
Title = "AC Mistake"
Response = MsgBox(Msg, Style, Title)
End If
This works ok but I need some code to insert that when the user clicks ok, the message box goes away and stays away even if the user does'nt change the value in cell A1
Thanks Trevor2002

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Im not exactly sure what you are asking, but maybe set a variable equal to something if the message box has popped up and then test to see the value of that variable before doing your "messagebox" code.

Just curious, but why not just use Data Validation with the Error alert set to warning?

lenze's answer is worth looking into ... but the down and dirty answer might be
Range("Sheet1!A1") = 0
following the msgbox
