Hi All,

May I please ask if some one can help me on the following:

I have a conditional format which changes cell colour if the value of the column is no between -50 and +50.

What I would like is for the user to be prompted upon saving or closing the spreadsheet a message box stating the following... "Phasings do not balance - Please check!"

Any help greatly appreciated

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
I would suggest you provide the name (codename prefereable, but at least sheet/tab name) of the sheet and the range you want this to happen in.

Conditional formats can be summed or counted but it is easier to just use the formula. Please explain what the column range is that you want to count or is it sum? e.g. Column B on sheet with tab name of "Balance" from B2 to last cell in column B, summed to be -50 to 50 to allow a file save.

Hi - thank you so much for responding.

My conditional format is in Column BQ and is a result of summing a 12 month phased total to ensure it ties back to the annual total. The range of +50 and -50 is there to represent any rounding issues and the colours used are RED for anything out of this range and GREEN if it is in the range

My end result is to ensure the users have corrected the RED errors... They need not knwo where they exist but just that they do and need correcting...

Hope this is sufficient in enabling some guidance

Regards
