message box

I have a workbook that holds some VBA code. It works just lovely, however performing the macro takes quite a while. The only way to tell the system did not hang up is examining the cursur, but most people using the workbook are very, very impatient and start pushing all kinds of buttons or even reboot thier system.

Is there any way i can make a message box appear telling me excel is busy, and have that disappear again after the macro finishes?

Nice... how usefull would this be as a progress indicator to when saving a file?
