Hi,
I have a database of customers with many duplicate entries of each because this database has customers listed from year 2000 till current year and would also be used in future. I want a way where by if a new customer name shows up in the database, it should show a message box saying " New customer followed by the new customer name". What I mean by shows up in the database is that no one is going to manually enter the data in this file but instead would get the data from other file using simple formula -- ABCfile -> sheet 1 --> Cell A2 (i.e. =Sheet1!A2 type formula). Now how do I have this database read it as a new customer name and give me the message with that customer name in the message box.

Thanks in advance
