I copy data from Yahoo Finance into a spreadsheet. I then run the following code

Code:
Sub ZapHyperlinks()
   Cells.Hyperlinks.Delete
End Sub

I then get the error
Run-Time error '2147417848 (80010108)'
Method 'Delete' of object 'Hyperlinks' Failed

I have tried deleting all the fields with Yahoo Hypertext in it. But when I run the macro again, it finds other areas to blow up on.

Any clue what is going on?

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
How about...

ActiveSheet.Hyperlinks.Delete

That should remove all hyperlinks on the entire sheet. A bit drastic, but it does the trick for me.

This seemed to work

range("A1:A10").hyperlinks.delete

but after running that,

ActiveSheet.Hyperlinks.Delete
Cells.Hyperlinks.Delete

still did not work

Thanks
