Mid Function Usage

Hello All:

I have the following data in a cell (the dashes are included):

0000033733 - NYKU7904349 - 021012

What I need is two separate cells

Cell 1 would have 33733
Cell 2 would have NYKU7904349

I know this would require the MID Function, but I don't know how to set it up.

Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Why not use Data>Text to columns... with - as the delimiter?
