Missing Data after Using Filter

Hello:
I've got a Column with 25,000 Rows.

Many of the piece of data are redundant.

The Filter is supposed to show one occurence of item, resulting in "unique" items.

How come when I run the Filter, data I know is in the Column does not show up in the Drop Down Filter List?

When I run a Find, it pulls it up, but it won't show in the Filtered list?

It doesn't matter if it's Text or Numbers, or combined?

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Henry,

the items in the filter drop down list are bounded by 1000 unique entries....

so, say, if you have all the numbers from 1 to 999,999 in a column, your drop down list will only show those between 1 and 1000

if you custom the filter to only show items equal to 555,778, it will filter them as such, so it still works fine, just they won't show in the drop down..... it can only cope with 1000 unique entries

(this might be 1001, I can't remember, but you catch my drift...)
