Missing row numbers

I just encountered more weird behavior in Excel 2016. I'm about ready to ditch it and go back to Win XP and Office 2017.

I've uploaded 2 workbooks to this Dropbox folder:

The first one (01) is the original workbook. I have been using this sheet for several weeks to record my blood pressure and other readings. This morning I opened it to add a new set of readings. After I had been working with it for a few minutes, I noticed that some of the rows were missing and some others were much taller (wider) that usual (something like 143 instead of the usual 14.3). And the row numbers were missing. And I was unable to scroll down. I changed the row height by right-clicking. I meant to save this version, but about this time Excel decided to restart and I lost it.

The second workbook (03) is the one with the resized rows, but the row numbers are still missing.

Can someone take a look and tell me what's going on?

Thanks

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Hi Jennifer, I opened the file (3) with 365 and all I could see (from the hidden row number point of view) was row 16 was very narrow (too narrow to see the row number). Are there any other rows that I should be looking at?

That's very interesting. Maybe it has something to do with the setting on my system. Here's a screen shot of how that sheet looks when I open it. Notice that rows 18-20 & 22 have no row numbers.

Select the rows with the missing row numbers & then set the font size to whatever size you normally use.

Thanks.

I'm going to mark this solved, but I don't recall if this solved the problem or not. I should have responded at the time, but must have gotten distracted.
