Hello Guys,

I have used the function Mode.Mult with success in the past, but for some reason it is not working for me now. I have the following range
9
55
92
-32
-51
14
48
37
14
-29
2
-8
55
-59
133

<COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 48pt" width=64><TBODY>
</TBODY>
When I use mode.mult and enter as an array, it gives me only 55 as the answer. It is same when I use mode, or muode.mult without array. The answer I want is 14, 55.

Thanks for all the help.

Use Data, What-If Analysis, Goal Seek to find the correct input cell value to reach a desired result
Try this -
In the example below I selected cells C2 & C3 (you need to select enough rows to cover the modes) then put in the formula and confirmed with
Excel Workbook
ABC
19Modes
25555
39214
4-32
5-51
614
748
837
914
10-29
112
12-8
1355
14-59
15133
CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER.

Thanks for that. But, I thought that the answers will be in one cell and shown as 14,55.

Is there another way for achieving that sort of result (14,55) in same cell?

Only by joining them in another cell I believe

Excel 2010
ABC
19Modes
25555
39214
4-3255,14
5-51
614
748
837
914
10-29
112
12-8
1355
14-59
15133

Thanks Michael.

But the real issue is that the data is huge and the number of answers will be different in each instance (1000s of them). So I cannot have a general formula for set number of cells to be included in mode.mult function.

Anyway, if there is no work around to my problem, I guess I will have to live with it.

Thanks a lot.
