Hello Everyone! Thank you in advance for your help. I manage an inventory and I want to count the number of models that are arriving in the future by the month they are scheduled to arrive:

And have the output look like this:

with the counting formula in cells B3:E7
I am having trouble figuring out how to sum the models by the month they are due to arrive.
Many Thanks,
Jack

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Just make a pivot table out of it with 'arrival date' in the columns, 'model' in the rows, and 'model' in the values.

Thank you for your response. I don't know pivot table well, am willing to learn. Update: important to the solution is that is can be "always on" so that it calculates no matter the length of the list of data and that it runs without any input when the output is needed. Will a pivot table do that, or does it need to be "run" each time there is new data?
