Looking to enter "Mon" in column A and "+A1+1" in column B to receive "Tue" and so on . . .

I currently receive "#VALUE!" when I enter the above, format is "ddd"

Also, will "Mon" will need appear on day 8 and so on . . .

You could enter a date that you know to be a monday in A1, say Sept 12 2011.
Format that cell as just mmm
Then the A1+1 will work.
