I have a table I am working on that is broken down into the months of the year. Each row of the table need to be populated only if the system month is equal to the month on the table.

The only formulas I can find just reference specific dates such as the full date. i.e. 09/01/2010

Here is a very persocode example of the formula I am looking for:

IF(AND(system date(month)="09",(table month="09")),run formula,"")

How can I get this formula to work correctly??

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
You are sooooo close I think. I think your code refers to a spicific date still...maybe :-\ The area in concern for me is the (celldate) part of your formula. My (celldate) is just the month i.e. 01, 02, 03...

Will it work with just a month value or perhaps the month as text i.e. january, febuary, ....??

=IF(MONTH(TODAY())=MONTH(celldate),run formula,"")

Try

=IF(MONTH(TODAY())=9,run formula,"")

9 = sept
10 = october
1 = january
etc..
