Monthly clsoing Balance

I have two data model sheet (1) item received and (2) Item Issued
against these two sheet I have power pivot table in that following columns are
(1) Item Name (2) Received quantity (3) Issued Quantity
successfully result got on Received quantity - Issued quantity=closing Balance
BUT when I try to get closing balance of each month that will become the opening of next month, is difficult please share your post

Likely you will want to add a property "Calendar table", then you can use OPENINGBALANCEMONTH()?

1-Month 2-Date 3- Item Code 4- Received Qty 1-Month 2-Date 3- Item Code 4 -Issued Qty

Required Result in power pivot
J A N U A R Y F E B U A R Y
Item code Received Qty - Issued Qty = JANUARY Closing Balance Received Qty - Issued Qty = Feburay Closing Balance
