Hi,

First time visiting since the new look - congrats team, it looks great!

Using Excel 2010 on Windows 7.

I have many cells referencing cell U41 on sheet 1. However, I want them to reference cell B14 on sheet 2.

Is there functionality that lets me do this quickly, or must I comb through the worksheets and modify the connections manually?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Using Excel's built in "Find and Replace", enter Sheet1!U41 in the "Find What" box.
Enter Sheet2!B14 in the "Replace With" box.
Choose Formulas for the "Look In" option
Choose Replace All.
If no cells are found, it may be that the original formula doesn't reference the sheet name, in which case just remove the sheet name from the "Find What" text.

Hope that helps,

Cut Sheet1!U41 to Sheet2!B14 and all the formulas will adjust automatically. Then restore whatever formula you destroyed in B14.

Thanks for the responses Cindy and shg. I've usually gone to the "Find and Replace" trick in the past for other things, and I imagine that will work here.

"Cutting" the cell had never occurred to me, but I like the simplicity of it.

Thanks again!
