mouse scroll wheel and missing part of sheet

Hi, I have two strange problems that I've not seen before. I have a spreadsheet and about a week ago the scroll wheel stopped operating in this spreadsheet, I couldn't identify the cause. It used to scroll up and down the sheet and now does nothing. If I switch it to zooming functionality in the options, it works zooming, but when I uncheck this option, it still won't scroll up and down. This is the only spreadsheet it occurs in. Has anyone seen this behaviour before?

The other thing happened just now in the same spreadsheet. It is set up to have some titles in the first four rows that are visible even when you scroll down. These four rows at the top have now disappeared and again I have no idea what the cause might be.

Any help with these mysteries would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, after trying to solve this for ages, I just tried unfreezing and refreezing the pane on the first four rows and that has somehow solved both problems, I don't know if it had somehow got corrupted, but if anyone can tell me what might have happened I would still be interested to know!
