Hi

It appears that when any member on my team tries to open an excel file on a network drive it takes forever. But when I make a copy to my desktop it takes a few seconds to open, and it's a very large file. I'd like a macro where a user can choose the file they want to open, and the macro makes a copy to the person's desktop. After updating as necessary, the user should save as and replace the original file on the network drive. I'm hoping there can be a control here with either a message box that reminds the user to save on the network drive or code that automatically replaces the original file on the drive when the save button is pressed.

Many thanks!
