Hi,

This may be beyond excel but I thought I'd ask anyway.

There are 3 parts to my sheet.

1) A graph, a yield curve.
2) Some data entry separate to the graph..
3) Some KPI's which are formulas based on the graph data and the data entry.

What I want to do is use the mouse to change the shape of the graph and have that change flow through to the graph data and therefore change the KPI's automatically.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance....

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
You can change the data for a chart by dragging the data points.

But if these data points are based on formulas I don't think that will work.

That works for each data point thanks. What about dragging the end point down and the shape of the whole graph changes (not just between the 2 points).

So if the graph curves upwards like a U (say 20 data points), when you drag the end point down the graph switches to look like an upside down U.

Is this possible?

I don't really know.

You might need to use some code that detects when one data point is chnaged and changes others accordingly.

That sounds like what you mean I think.:)
