Hi all

I have a fairly simple question. I have two spreadsheets that I would like to merge into one. To that tend, I would like to select the entire populated range in sheet2 and move to sheet1. The idea is to retain all links that refer to sheet to and reflect the new reference once the copy is done. As as example, some formula in sheet3 might have previously read:

=Sheet2!B4+Sheet2!C4

And will be:

=Sheet2!C12+Sheet2!D12

after the copy. I suspect there is some hotkey to press whilst moving selected ranges to move them onto a new sheet?

Thanks in advance

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Select your range to be moved, use key combination CTRL X to cut the selected range, select the target sheet and the target cell and press CTRL V. Done!
