Hi, I really appreciate this board!

I've just been given this project to compare data. I know that I could use lookup or match in some form but the data is in row order not column order. ( i mean that the data that has to be compared is below the data that needs to be compared) :rolleyes:
The data is also in red- so i was looking for a conditonal statement that says something to the effect of "if text is red then move to column B....
I have around 7000 lines so ANY help would be appreciated. My eyes are starting to see purple!

Excel Facts

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
A more specific example might help. What needs to be compared to what, etc.

Was the color applied via Conditional Formatting or otherwise?
