Hi All,

The below code does not work, when I use it from the VB editor and use F8 it works, but if I click on run or use it from the sheet, it dosen't and throws up an error: "method paste of object' Worksheet failed.
Any clue whats happening.

VBA Code:
Sub moveshapes()

Dim shp As Shape

For Each shp In Sheet1.Shapes

shp.Copy
Sheet2.Paste Cells(4, 5)

Next shp

End Sub

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Maybe...
Code:
Sheet2.Paste Destination:=ThisWorkbook.Sheets("sheet2").Cells(4, 5)

Yes, thank you both...it works, I also tried using application.screenupdating = false and then turning it back on before the code Sheet2.Paste Cells(4, 5).
I think it has to do with something moving from vb background to sheet back and forth....just a guess.
