Moving Data from Rows to Columns? Copy and Paste?

I am having trouble. I have an existing spreadsheet containing info going across the page (along rows). Someone has provided me with a spreadsheet requiring the same information but going down columns. Is there a way I can achieve this without insummountable data entry? thanks guys.

Select the data to be copied and choose Edit, Copy.

Select the first target cell and choose Edit, Paste Special, check Transpose and click OK.
