I have a shape on my excel spreadsheet. I am using the following code to adjust its rotation.

Sheet1.Shapes("TOL_11_0218_PRPointer").Rotation = (Sheet3.Cells(15, 3).Value * 2.25) + 6

I have a button to run this code.

However every time I press the button to run this code the shape's X & Y position also moves!!!!! Each time I press the update button the shape moves across the spreadsheet.

Very odd.

Can anyone help? Is there a better way to link a shape's rotation to a cell value that doesn't move the shape?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
That line of code simply rotates the shape, it doesn't move the shape across the worksheet. Maybe you have some other line of code manipulating it?

Try with IncrementRotation - a VBA help must read - rather than with Rotation …
