MS 2013 ACCESS

i've created a field which contain the current date "date()"...the problem i am having is that i want that field to ALWAYS show "today's" date, however, once the record is created; the field stays with the date it was created and it no longer shows "today's" date.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
What is the purpose? Are you trying to display the current date in a Report of Form somewhere?
If so, as Kyle said, you wouldn't store it.
You would just add a Text Box to your Form/Report and use =DATE() as the Control Source of that Text Box.

Or if you are wanting to use it in a Query, you just use DATE() in your calculated field.
