Hi... I have an Excel 2003 workbook that pulls data in from an ODBC source using an MS Query via "import external data". Despite checking the option to save the login information, I am still prompted to enter login credentials the 1st time I run the workbook each session. Anyone know a way to embed the login credentials or a vba routine to automate the login?

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Hi

Doing it via code should be fairly simple. Can you:

Create a new workbook and record a macro of you importing this data from your ODBC source (via MS Query) and then paste the generated code into your reply.

Please state any parameter information you supply (eg if you supply a date to the import so that only records generated up to the date are pulled back or such like).
