I have a MS Word Mail Merge file that contains approx 3000 single page letters (each with an unique employee number).

What I would like to do if possible is get to a point where I have a PDF file for each letter, saved with the title as the employee identitifer.

Not sure if I can write a macro that would save and convert all, any advice would be much appreciated.

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Have tried it and works great thx.

The only thing I am having a problem with is changing the line of code that renames and saves the document so that it saves the document with the title being the first line of text on the page (a 6 digit employee number)

strNewFileName = Replace(docMultiple.FullName, ".doc", "_" & Right$("000" & iCurrentPage, 4) & ".doc")
