Is there a way to create multiple pivot charts from one pivot table. I've read some documents saying that I can do it by selecting the data manually or something like that, but I don't understand exactly how that is done. Does anybody have any idea?

Pivot tables are based on a data table of some sort.
I see no point in bothering to go your route unless the table concerned is in an external workbook. Might as well use the same table.

If 2 pivot tables are in the same workbook they can be made to share the same data. This keeps the file size down if you are using the option to "Save data with table layout".

I do not know a direct method of achieving this because when (using the Wizard) basing a new PT on the data I automatically get a prompt with the opportunity to get the new PT to share.
