Hi Everyone,

Hope someone can help me, I have two colums of data that I have to check with an if type formula but only If colum Q matches, so what i need is the formula to do the following,

IF Q1 = Q2 and L1 = L2 or M1 = M2 then "Yes" if not then "NO"

so Q1 and Q2 must match, but only L1 or M1 will match

can someone help please?

thanks

Tony.

### Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},\$Z\$1:\$Z\$99,\$Y\$1:\$Y\$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Try this:
=IF(AND(Q1=Q2,OR(L1=L2,M1=M2)),"Yes","No")
