My self and a group of people are using a shared workbook, But not everyone is great with computers that use this work book and if a popup appears they normally just say ok with out actually thinking about what it says!

The problem is when people are saving there overwriting other peoples work in excel with “accept my changes” rather than do accept other persons changes and move theirs to another blank cell that’s free.

Is there a VB/Macro that can solve this something that can detect when you save and if it knows it’s going to overwrite it will automatic move it to the next blank cell, then save it self. To avoided overwriting someone else’s hard work!

Or does anyone know of other options that may help to prevent this, I’ve tried putting the auto save time down but with it a large workbook it spends more time saving so wasn’t too particle.

Many Thanks for any help, support and Ideas how to resolve this annoying issue. :)
