Hi all,

Let me explain what I'm trying to do:

I have a list of questions. Every answer to each question gets a score on several categories, for example:

Question 1:
Answer A (gives a score for category A: 1, gives a score for category B: 4, gives a score for category C: 7)
Answer B (gives a score for category A: 3, gives a score for category B: 2, gives a score for category C: 5)
Answer C (gives a score for category A: 2, gives a score for category B: 9, gives a score for category C: 6)

Every question is like this.
Every question has only one answer.

What I need / want, is to be able to see all possible combinations of the categories when people would fill this in.

So when someone answers A to all questions, what would the scores be per category.
If someone answers all B’s, what would be the score per category.
If someone answers 6B’s, 5A and 7 times a C, what would be the score per category.

I don’t need to see which combinations make which score, I just need a list of all the possible scores per category.

I hope this is possible with Excel, if not any other solution is welcome as well.

Best regards and a big thank you in advance!

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Edit: I use Excel 2011 for MacOS.
That seems a little confusing.
