I have numerous Range("A1:A4").Value = 0 statements in my code. Other than the cell references, the lines are identical.

Is it possible to include all the different cell ranges into one individual Range statement? I tried using commas to separate the different cell references within the brackets but get errors.

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Make sure you add the commas within the speech marks.

This is the shorthand syntax for Union:

Code:
Sub example()

    Range("A1:A4, C2:C7, F1:G22").Value = 0

End Sub

Whereas this is the shorthand syntax for Intersect:
Code:
Sub example()

'intersect of B1:B5 and A3:G3 is the cell B3
Range("B1:B5 A3:G3").Value = 0

End Sub

Hi Colin!

I see where I went wrong, I had quotation marks around each cell reference.

PS ... Need to finish these nitpicky things before I can error test from our other thread.
