Hi,

I am working on a 1-year data of file and I want only to sum specific cells but excel is not allowing due to many references etc.

I am working on and I want only to add the values of 12:00-12:59 since it is an hourly interval from Jan 1 2014 - Dec 31 2014.

Is there any formulas that you can suggest?

 1/1/2014 12:00 AM - 12:59 AM 0 1:00 AM - 1:59 AM 0 2:00 AM - 2:59 AM 1 3:00 AM - 3:59 AM 0 4:00 AM - 4:59 AM 0 5:00 AM - 5:59 AM 1 6:00 AM - 6:59 AM 1 7:00 AM - 7:59 AM 1 8:00 AM - 8:59 AM 2 9:00 AM - 9:59 AM 5 10:00 AM - 10:59 AM 6 11:00 AM - 11:59 AM 8 12:00 PM - 12:59 PM 16 1:00 PM - 1:59 PM 12 2:00 PM - 2:59 PM 14 3:00 PM - 3:59 PM 8 4:00 PM - 4:59 PM 6 5:00 PM - 5:59 PM 8 6:00 PM - 6:59 PM 8 7:00 PM - 7:59 PM 6 8:00 PM - 8:59 PM 5 9:00 PM - 9:59 PM 5 10:00 PM - 10:59 PM 3 11:00 PM - 11:59 PM 1 1/2/2014 12:00 AM - 12:59 AM 4 1:00 AM - 1:59 AM 2 2:00 AM - 2:59 AM 0 3:00 AM - 3:59 AM 0 4:00 AM - 4:59 AM 0 5:00 AM - 5:59 AM 0 6:00 AM - 6:59 AM 0 7:00 AM - 7:59 AM 1 8:00 AM - 8:59 AM 4 9:00 AM - 9:59 AM 8 10:00 AM - 10:59 AM 11 11:00 AM - 11:59 AM 12 12:00 PM - 12:59 PM 13 1:00 PM - 1:59 PM 14 2:00 PM - 2:59 PM 18 3:00 PM - 3:59 PM 8 4:00 PM - 4:59 PM 8 5:00 PM - 5:59 PM 4 6:00 PM - 6:59 PM 16 7:00 PM - 7:59 PM 8 8:00 PM - 8:59 PM 8 9:00 PM - 9:59 PM 5 10:00 PM - 10:59 PM 4 11:00 PM - 11:59 PM 4

### Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

Assuming data is in columns A & B or adjust as needed:

Code:
``=SUMIFS(B:B,A:A,"12:00 AM - 12:59 AM")``
Col B containing count
Col A container Times
