My worksheet is currently laud out in this format:

Column A Column B Column C Column D
Product Type Date I.D. Number Amount

I want to write a formula for the sum of each amount in column D between certain dates in column B, for certain I.D. Numbers in Column C. I have tried SUMIF formulas, VLOOKUP formulas, and IF formulas, but I can seem to get it right. Any ideas?

Thank you!

Did you try SUMIFS ? this allows for multiple criteria. In your case, you want a sum between specific dates. =SUMIFS(sum column D,B range,">"&date,B range, "<"&date, C Range, "="&ID#1, etc.)

I can see an issue with the ID number column. You say "certain" ID numbers. You will need to list out the idnumbers you want to look for and ensure there are criteria for them. If you can limit the ID numbers you are searching for to 5, then you will need 5 criteria.

Here is an example of a SUMIFS formula I just did. Its not exactly what you are looking for but it might get you started.
