Multiple condition Count

Below is a brief snap shot of part of my spreadsheet can someoneplease tell me a formula to count how many contracts were awarded in july so that when i add august underneath each one will calculate seperately with out me having to use exact cell references. So i want it to count everytime it is July in Cell A and status 1 in column I

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Sort by date Sort by votes
Not really because it needs to only count instances of july that have a status of 1 ie a sucessful outcome from the site visit
